Overview: We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our London office at a leading independent consulting engineering firm. You will be part of a dynamic team working on diverse projects across various sectors, developing innovative design solutions and collaborating with a wide range of built-environment specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed designs and drawings using the latest digital techniques.
- Use advanced computer modelling software for engineering analysis.
- Undertake site surveys and attend collaborative meetings with project teams and clients.
- Take responsibility for design coordination with other disciplines and professionals.
- Manage the mechanical discipline on small projects.
- Support and deliver designs for a range of project types and sizes.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality service for clients.
Requirements:
- Expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Master's or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Understanding of CAD or similar modelling software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Friendly, ambitious, and confident individual with a flexible and resilient attitude.
