Reporting to the Head of IT the IT Administrator will be responsible for user setups, first and second line support, system training and server/application performance monitoring.

Duties:

  • New starter setups across core systems and third-party applications
  • IT support and training to on-site staff and remote users (c.400 user base)
  • Escalation of second and third-line support to senior support team
  • Liaise with third party support teams for additional technical support
  • Maintain and administrate core systems built on a QuickBase platform (low-code)
  • Maintain the private and public cloud server environments (Rackspace, AWS)
  • Maintain wide range of integrations – Access, Zapier, Think Automation etc
  • Manage G Suite users, maintain company security protocols and safeguard company data
  • Assist with project work as required

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience supporting Mac, PC and Windows servers (Linux experience useful but not required) across a remote user base
  • Excellent communication skills
  • AWS experience (training and professional certification will be provided)
  • Android / iOS troubleshooting
  • Excellent general IT Skills - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access or SQL
  • An understanding of relational databases, (experience with SQL Server admin desirable)
  • Experience liaising with 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience documenting processes and configurations
  • Excellent level of attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, consistently meeting sometimes challenging deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability to work under own initiative and autonomously
  • Logical & flexible approach work
